Building the Domestic Church
The term “Domestic Church” refers to the family, the smallest body of gathered believers in Christ. Our Early Church Fathers understood that the home was fertile ground for discipleship, sanctification, and holiness.
In order to live our Christian lives most fully, the Catholic Church teaches us to live out our discipleship first and foremost with those closest to us in our lives.
The St. Theresa community feels called to help nurture our roles in our domestic churches. Through our ministries we are actively working to find and deliver the means for you to teach in your Domestic Church and to learn from each other.
We are all already members of our own domestic churches, and the more fully we live our discipleship in those communities, the more strongly we will be able to live out our discipleship as the parish of St. Theresa.
